What this service covers
Turf laying gives you a usable lawn in a day instead of a season. We prepare the base — levels checked, old growth and weeds removed, soil loosened and firmed — then lay fresh-cut turf in staggered rows with tight seams and rolled contact.
The critical part is the fortnight after: we water in thoroughly on the day and leave you a simple establishment schedule. Autumn and spring laying establish fastest in Canterbury; summer laying is possible with irrigation and commitment.

Christchurch Lawns and Gardens Ltd is a registered limited company based in Redwood, Christchurch, operating since 2015 with more than three decades of hands-on gardening experience. You deal with one local team that knows Canterbury soils, winds and seasons — not a call centre.
We turn up when agreed, work through the section methodically, and take green waste away at the end of the visit. Rounds run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region, and many clients roll a first visit straight onto a weekly, fortnightly or monthly round.
